The goal for the 82North service is to provide a cost-effective way for you to get your activity online.

Pricing is as follows with several choices to fit your business model. We can set you up with a merchant account at the lowest rates - guaranteed. Contact 82North for details!

Payment Methods available on your site include Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex, Bank Debit, Mail Check and None.

82North Optimum clients either have their own merchant account or apply for one through the 82North designated account providers (Metro Merchant Services or QOS Merchant Solutions). The designated providers have agreed to waive application fees and set the discount rate at the same level (or lower!) than 82North pays. The monthly rate for the merchant card is currently $12.50-$22.50 (includes the online gateway) and Your funds will be available to you immediately in your DDA/checking account.

One time events: $150. If your event has more than 400 registrants, Road Rally registration rates apply.

Additional (though modest) fees for nametag creation. Talk to 82North about pricing for multiple event registration.

Donation/annual giving/capital campaigns: $200/yr with annual contract.

Membership signup or renewal: $200/yr with annual contract.

OR

MULTIPLE SITES! for an annual fee of $500 . If you expect to use 82North for event registrations, donations, memberships, surveys and other types of sites (and why wouldn't you?!), you can create as many sites as you'd like for the flat fee of $500/yr.

There are NO ADDITIONAL 82NORTH FEES OF ANY KIND.

Bank Fees: The merchant bank fees range from 2.19% plus 25c for each Visa, M/C, and Discover transaction to 3.5% plus 25c for AMEX. These prices are subject to change - we are at the mercy of the merchant banks. Please note that our software requires name, address, zip code and CVN validation so your rate is the best possible one. Corporate and Reward cards carry additional add-on fees, per your merchant account agreement. If you wish to bring your own merchant account, please ask what the rates for Authorize.net as your online gateway.

82North also ties in with the Sage Payment Gateway, yet another service you those of you who use the Sage donor management software.

Because most services show charges per month, here's the math:

$200/year works outs to $16.67/mo for one site

$500/yr works out to $41.67/mo for multiple sites:

Say you have 3 events/sites for...

• 1) donations
• 2) a gala
• 3) a survey

...those three sites are most cost-effective under our Multiple Sites option. ($500/yr = $41.67/mo divided by those 3 sites = $14/yr/site.)

Setup Fees: Never works out to $0 - nothing!

Premium clients with custom pages are charged according to the degree of customization. The remainder of the service is covered under the rates for 82North Optimum. Beyond our core service, we'll even provide you with a website for the same cost as leading web site hosting companies. We also can maintain your site if you wish. Additional, but competitive, charges apply.

Road Rally provides you with Automatic Team Creation with Team pages, Individual pages, thermometers, goals, and personalized messages (even at the individual level). First year Road Rally clients pay a $2500 development fee; subsequent years cost $1000 - the bulk of the work was in your first year! If you make major changes in subsequent years, development fees apply at $125/hr. There is also a $1 per head registration/donor fee. The remainder of the service is covered under the rates for 82North Optimum.

Express Lane Checkout clients allow their event registrants to save their payment information to be used for later dinging - such as at a silent auction. No waiting in line, no hassles when they win a few items. They can go home, and you can charge their credit card when you are ready. Safe and secure, encrypted in another part of the database, everyone wins with Express Lane Checkout! Fees for Express Lane Checkout are covered under 82North's Optimum Service plan. For those with only an Event Registration at $150, another $150 is charged for the silent auction charging/checkout site. This feature is also available for deposits and any other situation where your client wants to save that payment method.

As a service to our prospective clients as well as to our current ones, 82North has put together a matrix of rates charged by our Industry Competitors. If you see an error of any kind, please let us know so we can make sure this information is correct.

Also, you'll see we tried to do some math for you so you can compare apples to apples. The first thing to notice is that you have to ask yourself how important is having a custom site; a generic site is cheaper for the donation, though your marketing department might argue!

There simply isn't anyone out there providing the same types of services 82North provides, period. If they do, they are charging you WAAAY more than we do and they still can't touch our personal service.
